Our renowned logistics partners deliver valuable clinical research samples to your laboratory quickly, safely and with an uninterrupted cold chain - no matter where your facility is located. Years of cooperation with the world's most prominent logistics companies guarantee seamless delivery. Depending on your location,clinical samples are delivered by FedEx, TNT or DHL via express air cargo. Within 3-5 business days, the parcel containing cryopreserved human biospecimens on dry ice will arrive in your facility. The dry ice refill service ensures that goods are not subject to temperature fluctuations in case of unforeseeable delivery delays.

  • The shipping fee includes handling charges, a dry ice fixed fee and worldwide priority shipping.

  • In case of a clearance delay, our customer service team will respond 24/7 and will immediately take care of the issue. If there should be a longer clearance delay, we offer a free refill service for the dry ice to maintain the original sample quality.

Shipping costs within Germany are 79 €. International shipping is starting from 90 € and depends on a variety of parameters, including the location of the biobanks and biorepositories, the destination, the distance and certain geographical conditions. Shipping fees are a fixed rate for each order, regardless of the order volume. Each package is sent with a sufficient amount of dry ice for perfect sample preservation and is processed as Priority Shipping. The service is included in the shipping costs.
Yes, tracking of shipping status is available. Once your parcel has been handed over to one of our couriers, you will receive your order's tracking number along with the shipping confirmation via e-mail. This will allow you to check the status of your delivery using the courier's online tracking portal.
Yes, you can use the in-house account of the logistics company. Please select this option while processing the order and fill in the required data in the form provided during the ordering process.
Nationwide shipping in Germany is carried out with TNT. For international deliveries, FedEx is our preferred partner. Upon customer request, packages can also be shipped with DHL.
Central BioHub is an online human biospecimen marketplace where worldwide partners can participate by offering their biospecimen inventory. You may have ordered samples from suppliers located in different countries. It is possible that parcels were shipped from two or more biobank facilities. In any case, we are your central point of contact if you have any questions about your purchase.
