Endocrine disorders are a group of diseases affecting the glands of the endocrine system, which further leads to a hormonal imbalance causing hormone-related diseases. For example, when there is overactive and underactive secretion of thyroid hormones by thyroid glands, the conditions are known as hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism respectively.
